50th Anniversary Performing Arts Concert
Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 7PM

Since the early years, and presently probably more than ever, the Performing Arts has been an important part of the first 50 Years of St. Joseph Regional HS.  As we celebrate our Jubilee, we will be bringing back alumni who have performed on the St. Joe’s stage to celebrate our Anniversary with a special concert on Friday, November 25th followed by a FREE Alumni Reception.  In addition to past stars of the St. Joe’s Stage, we will have performances by Broadway Stars Rita Harvey (Christine – Phantom of the Opera, Hodel – Fiddler on the Roof), Robert DuSold (Javert and ValJean – Les Mis, Billy Flynn – Chicago), Robin Irwin (Titanic, Grease) and composer and lyricist Neil Berg (The Prince and the Pauper, Grumpy Old Men) who all presently work with the St. Joe’s students on our productions. The evening will be capped off by honoring  Rob and Will Reale,  St. Joe’s alumni, who will be inducted into the SJR Performance Arts Hall of Fame.  The Reale Brothers are the composer and lyricist of A Year with Frog and Toad, which in addition to having a successful Broadway run, was nominated for three Tony Awards in 2003, including Best Musical.  The evening will be hosted by St. Joe’s stage directors Mike Castelluccio and John Asselta (who will be celebrating his 20th year directing musicals at St. Joe’s). Following the concert, alumni are invited to a special Alumni Reception.

Tickets may be reserved through tkts@sjrtheater.com or by mailing in the Ticket Order form click [Download not found] to the school.  All seats are reserved and will be held at the box office which will open at 6:30, 1/2 hour before show time.  Alumni, please indicate if you will be joining us for the reception so the proper amount of food and beverages can be ordered.

We look forward to celebrating 50 Years of the Performing Arts at St. Joseph Regional with you on Friday, November 25th at 7 PM.
