A SIGHT TO BEHOLD AT ST. JOE’S
To the Editor:
This past weekend my wife and I had the pleasure of attending one of the performances of “Les Miserables” at St. Joseph Regional High School. It has always been one of our favorite shows, so when we saw it was playing at St. Joe’s we got tickets and planned to attend. We have attended other shows they have done in the past and they always do a great job.
We went into the theater with high expectations from this group of young people. After the second number, my wife and I turned to each other and just said “WOW!” The performance was extraordinary. The orchestra was great as were the sets and the show moved seamlessly from scene to scene.
Throughout the show I had to keep reminding myself that these were high school students. At the end of the show the students received a well-deserved rousing standing ovation.
We offer our congratulations to the staff and St. Joe’s from Principal Barry Donnelly on down. You all have much to be proud of. If in the future you have an opportunity to see a show at St. Joe’s, give yourself a treat. To one and all, thank you very much. BRAVO!
