The world-renowned musical sensation by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg celebrated its 25th anniversary, which made the perfect time to “bring it home” to the the Inserra Theater. Over 200 students auditioned to be a part of this very memorable production. A special Benefit performance included a talk-back with former Broadway and National Tour Les Mis Cast Members. Taylor Popielarz, SJR Class of 2011, received a Best Supporting Actor award from the Metropolitan High School Theatre Awards for his portrayal of “Enjolras”.
